Who the fuck is this guy, anyway?

ChaotiQueer got his start in the mid-80's as a lead vocalist in a number of pop, death, and glam metal bands that went absolutely nowhere. Although this gave him his foundation in music, it also sparked his interest in leather couture. From the atrocious cover bands to the "artistic & introspective metal shriekfest," ChaotiQueer has sung it all. All of this as a closeted fag playing it straight.

Needless to say, things had to change.

In the early nineties he landed in Seattle where he not only explored an open sexuality for the first time, but he picked up his second instrument, keyboards. ChaotiQueer recorded several demos with queer artist and violinist, Tony Bonjorno, in a short lived collaboration called Margin of Error. To this day, Chaotiqueer still plays some of this music..

The late nineties regurgitated him in Portland where he explored his keyboard playing. The first of these bands was Ginger Snapt, an alternative darkpop glam band who recorded the 2001 demo Already Flying Above Us. After some drummer failures (of which there were many) they parted ways before a full release could be recorded.

And then things changed again.

ChaotiQueer then became fascinated with dj'ing and saw it as a way to get his music to a wider audience. To that end, after a brief collaboration with queer artist Charlie Vazquez, Rough Trade Unlimited was born. A project that sought to explore the darker sides of queer love, lust, and real life.

In late 2004, this collaboration spawned Queer Fetish, a monthly event that featured DJ ChaotiQueer, Spittles the Butt-Spankin' Clown, Splendora Gabor, and other artists. Along with the best of alternative dance music, there were cutting edge BDSM performances and installations, allowing ChaotiQueer to meld all sides of his being. During this time Splendora Gabor, co-host of the event, developed his/her new artisitic creation, Splendora & The Gender Fluids, which ChaotiQueer continues to contribute to musically.

2007 found him releasing a new demo from Rough Trade Unlimited, Service, which featured 5 new songs that are all composed, recorded, and produced by ChaotiQueer. Afterwards, he packed all of his worldly possessions and followed his dream to New York City where he now resides. He is currently working on a new release exploring the sublime and squalid splendors of Gotham.

In his spare time he walks his hellhound, enjoys nasty sleazy leather sex, and indulges in highly intellectual forms of entertainment like role playing games.
